Meet Marsina Govan
I spent the summers on my Great Grandmother's farm and that started my love affair with food. Those early childhood memories shaped the way I think and feel about food. I remember picking vegetables from her garden and tasting everything freshly picked. The taste of a home-grown tomato is still my favorite. Churning butter and tasting it before it was separated from the milk was memorable.
My Great Grandmother's guided hands made me the adventurous cook I am today. I cook from scratch using the freshest ingredients. I have recipes handed down from my Great Grandmother and my mom all of my salad dressings, jams and sauces are made from scratch and sometimes I bake bread.
